Performance for All

The Rogue's front-wheel-drive platform is more than capable. Yet, if your life takes you places you hadn't planned on, the Rogue's available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is there to get you through and back again. This intelligent system automatically adjusts power between axles when needed. When it doesn't, the system will send all the power to the front for increased efficiency. Now you can dial in your Rogue's steering, shift points, and suspension to match the driving conditions with five unique drive modes. Auto mode is there for your everyday driving. Sport mode features heavier steering and a sharper throttle for a more thrilling ride. Snow mode helps your Rogue stay on course through those wintry conditions. Eco mode is perfect for saving money on those long road trips. The Off-Road mode is specially tuned to handle dirt, gravel, and sand for when you just have to take that shortcut. Your Rogue is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System and Direct Injection Gas system. Nissan pairs this with their Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission featuring a wider gear ratio, dynamic step shifting, and an adaptive shift controller. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters let you put it in manual mode and enjoy the performance. This powertrain gets 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. Nissan has included a few dynamic driving technologies to help you navigate difficult driving situations. Intelligent Trace Control lets you corner with confidence. The system will brake individual wheels to help you steer with less effort through difficult turns. Active Ride Control smooths out the imperfections in the road by adjusting engine torque and applying brake pressure for a smoother ride. Hill Start Assist will automatically keep the brakes applied while you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator if you're on an incline. Automatic Brake Hold uses the same technology to keep the brakes engaged when you are stopped at a stoplight — no need to keep your foot on the brake. As soon as you hit the accelerator, your brakes are released and you are free to fly.

Interior Style and Convenience

Comfortable seating for five and a tri-zone climate control system makes the whole family happy. Available semi-aniline quilted leather seats with heating and ventilation cradle you in a luxurious comfortable interior. A memory system can save your seat and mirror positions for two drivers. Opt for the dual-panel panoramic moonroof and catch a breeze or enjoy that bright starry night sky. The Rogue is car seat ready for any LATCH-compatible car seat, be it forward-facing, rear-facing, or a booster seat for you're little ones that are growing up so fast. Rear sunshades can be installed on the windows to keep your little ones shaded. When you exit your Rogue, the Rear Seat Alert system will remind you to check the back seat for anything you might have forgotten. Open the rear liftgate hands-free with the motion-activated liftgate. If it's cargo you're hauling, then the Divide and Hide system has six configurations. You can create shelving or a secret storage compartment in the rear cargo area. For more space, the second-row seats fold flat with the push of a button.

The Latest Driver-Assist Technology

You're on a different road when you're driving the all-new Rogue. ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link uses advanced 3D mapping on the highway, alerting you to speed limit changes and merges, and when Navi-link is activated, it can even guide you off the highway. ProPILOT Assist can adjust your speed to changing rules and can even help you navigate stop and go traffic. Nissan's Safety Shield 360 is standard on every Rogue. This suite of driver-assist technologies uses advanced radar and cameras to monitor the road around you. Intelligent Forward Collision Warning monitors a full two cars ahead to provide advanced warning of potential collisions. When it detects a sudden deceleration ahead, it alerts you with visual and audio cues to slow down. If you fail to react in time, the Automatic Emergency Braking system will lend additional brake support to lessen a possible impact. AEB also features Pedestrian Detection, which works at slow speeds to spot pedestrians crossing your path. Blind Spot Warning uses optical sensors to monitor your Rogue's blind spots. You'll receive alerts in your sideview mirrors when vehicles are present. An Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention system will alert you when you attempt to make a lane change with a vehicle hidden in your blind spot. It can even brake and help steer you back into your lane. Lane Departure Warning works with similar technology that detects a vehicle drift when traveling within marked lanes. Your warning is a gentle vibration through the steering wheel. Should you fail to react, the Intelligent Lane Intervention system will tap the brakes to help you back into your lane. Your Rogue comes with front, side, and rear sonar systems that beep as you approach objects, whether you see them or not. Should you become distracted, the Rear Automatic Braking system will intervene. A Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system uses rear-mounted sensors to alert you when a car or pedestrian crosses behind you while in reverse.

The automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection system gives you audio and visual alerts, and it applies the brakes to help you avoid a collision. Rear Automatic Braking. It's known as Nissan Intelligent Mobility, and it is a suite of integrated safety technologies that assist you as you make various maneuvers and lane changes while driving. Intelligent Lane Intervention. This feature works when the lane markings are visible, and it alerts you when you're getting too close to the lane lines without making an intentional move or signaling. The feature also taps the brakes to get your attention and get you to move back in between the lane lines. Intelligent Back-Up Intervention. This feature can sense when a car is approaching as you reverse out of your parking spot. It works in concert with the RearView Monitor and casts a wider net of awareness beyond the range of the camera. You'll know if someone's coming even before you see them. The available Navi-link syncs with the navigation system, and it can provide additional information to better predict the traffic flow on the freeway ahead. Speed Adjust by Route can also help you reduce your speed on tight curves and off-ramps, while the Speed Limit Assist can help you set the vehicle's limits to the posted speed limit. ProPilot Park If you're parked in a tight spot where you cannot open the doors on either side, you can control your car through ProPilot Park, using an intelligent key from outside the car. When you issue a command for the car to move slowly, the car can recognize the type of parking spot. The 12 sonar sensors installed on the car's front and rear bumpers can sense when an obstacle is in your path. When it receives a signal to move, it will do so based on the sonar sensors. Advanced Features Nissan Intelligent Driving comes with advanced features such as automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, blind-spot intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, high-beam assist, and traffic sign recognition.
